Our
Psychological
Process

01. Consultation Call

Brief phone consultation to discuss your family’s presenting concerns and goals for treatment. We will collaborate to determine the most appropriate plan and next steps.

02. Intake Paperwork

Families complete electronic intake and consent forms to share background information, review confidentiality, and acknowledge practice policies. This step helps ensure families understand the process and know what to expect in care. Once paperwork is completed, families are able to schedule their first appointment.

03. Diagnostic Intake

This appointment gathers detailed background information such as developmental history, medical and school experiences, family dynamics, and current concerns. Rating scales are also provided to help collect more information about your child.

04. Treatment Recommendations and Planning

During this step, Dr. Novakovic collaborates with families to develop and share a personalized plan. Together, we identify meaningful goals and determine appropriate next steps. The focus is on supporting growth and promoting meaningful progress across home, school, and community settings.

Good Faith Estimate

A Good Faith Estimate is provided during the intake process to outline the expected cost of services before care begins. This estimate helps families understand potential expenses for evaluations or therapy sessions and supports transparency in billing. Rates start at $200 per hour, and a sliding scale is available for families. While actual costs may vary based on individual needs or additional services, Nova Psychological Center is committed to clear communication and avoiding financial surprises.
